Interactive-Quiz
After the success of the event held for the S.E & T.E COMP on 6/08/2010, the next event under the CIA body was INTERACTIVE QUIZ CONTEST for S.E & T.E.I.T. The event was held on 9/08/2010 at the T.E.I.T class room (1st floor) .The dignitaries present at the event were the honourable H.O.D (CSE-IT Dept.) Umesh S Bhadade and also the faculty staff of the department.
The event commenced at 3:30p.m. After welcoming H.O.D sir and the present faculty, the next was a welcoming speech by Sukriti Singh (member of CIA) and also the introduction of CIA was included in her speech. After this our H.O.D sir addressed the students and gave them an introductory speech on CSI i.e. Computer Society of India. Also the students were made aware of the benefits and the membership in the same.
Moving on further was the start of the Heart of the event –The Interactive Quiz. The concept of the quiz was that the questions were displayed via the projector n they were followed by their respective answers along with brief information about the same. The questions were based on overall computer technology and it’s past. Meanwhile students were also shown few futuristic videos. The quiz was taken by Abhinandan Jain (vice president-CIA).There were also few pictorial questions. At the end of the quiz the winners from S.E.I.T were as follow:-
- Hardik Trivedi - Winner
- Aniket - 1st Runner-up
Whereas for T.E there was a tie for the winner’s position and then their was a tie-breaker C question for them and also an Rapid-fire round and the results were as follow:-
- Sagar Talele - Winner
- Ranjankumar Sahoo - 1st Runner-up
The event was called off at 5:00p.m after the speech of Mr. Kushal Birla(teacher Co-ordinator-CIA).Respected sir addressed the students with regards to CIA and also they were encouraged to be an active supporter of the CIA and it’s various events. Last it was the Prize distribution by Ms. Sapna Choriya. And after the Thanks Giving speech the event came to an end.
